SLIM SAMARITAN - Just Warming Up

‘Just Warming Up’ is the first project brought to us from Arizona hip-hop artist Slim Samaritan. A 10-track offering featuring gritty, ethereal, sometimes spooky beats and a bar-laden, monotone delivery that many folks are sure to enjoy.

Slim has a unique voice which carries us through each and every song and never seems to fall off or falter, while delivering punch-heavy bar after bar rhyme schemes. I found myself in a state of “I wonder what he’s gonna say next?” while listening to the project which, as a fellow MC, is definitely a good sign.

Standout tracks like ‘Cringe’ and ‘Arizona’ became my favorites due to the beat selections, catchy hooks, and good punches. Slim speaks heavily on manifestation and speaking into existence the life he wants, a concept quite a lot of us can relate to.

Grimy, bouncy beats coupled with heavy hitting punchlines, copious amounts of kush and the world at your feet! These are the feelings evoked from this project and I look forward to seeing and hearing more from Slim Samaritan once he’s done ‘Warming Up’.
